- Connection Data: Bank connection tokens (we never see or store your bank login credentials)

- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent on the service
- Device Information: IP address, browser type, operating system
- Cookies: Authentication cookies, session cookies (see Section 6)

- Email Service Provider: To send your daily transaction summaries
- Cloud Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure (or your hosting provider) for data storage and processing

- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (users will be notified)

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

- Password Security: Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms
- Bank Credentials: We NEVER store your bank login credentials (Plaid handles authentication)

8. Data Retention
- Active Accounts: We retain your data as long as your account is active
- Deleted Accounts: Data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion request
- Legal Obligations: We may retain certain data longer if required by law
- Transaction History: Free tier: 90 days | Pro tier: Unlimited
9. Children's Privacy
ClearTally is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If we discover we have collected data from a child, we will delete it immediately.
10. International Users
ClearTally is based in the United States. If you access our service from outside the US, your data may be transferred to
and processed in the United States. By using our service, you consent to this transfer.
11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:
